SHARE-ABLE THOUGHT by Esther Abraham Hicks via The Daily Love
Today during my web trollings for good and inspirational things, I stumbled across this quote on The Daily Love. It echoed many of the thoughts and relationship that I have and hope to continue to have about and with my children and those that I feel the Lord has for me, but it distinctly reminds me of the difference between a parent, a creator and leadership coach.
Thoughts?
"Child of mine, I will never do for you that which I know you can do for yourself. I will never rob you of an opportunity to show yourself your ability and talent. I will see you at all times as the capable, effective, powerful creator that you've come forth to be. And I will stand back as your most avid cheerleading section. But I will not do for you that which you have intended to do for yourself. Anything you need from me, ask. I'm always here to compliment or assist. I am here to encourage your growth, not to justify my experience through you."

GIVE: Help Us Support Them: KVIL's Gene and Julie partner with Sambuca to Host An Aurora Relief Effort
Here's the scoop from my fellow Dallas-lover Cynthia at Oh So Cynthia.
"Gene and Julie Gates from KVIL's "The Gene and Julie Show" invite you to join them this Thursday, July 26 at Sambuca in Uptown from 4-7PM for a fundraiser to help the victims of last week's movie theater massacre in which 12 people died and many others were injured. Joining them will be Megan Saunders.
Megan and 5 of her best friends friends were at the theater that night and sat side-by-side in the fourth row from the front, engrossed in a movie they'd long anticipated, about a superhero facing down evil. They were there to celebrate Megan's 20th birthday. Then an emergency exit door burst open, and suddenly evil was no longer the stuff of comic books and summer blockbusters. It would take only seconds for these childhood friends to realize the horror that was about to unfold.
Megan will share her story with Gene and Julie tomorrow morning on 103.7 Lite FM around 8:25AM. You can join Gene and Julie, Megan and a host of local celebrities, including Sean Lowe of "The Bachelorette", Steve Kemble, LeeAnne Locken, Amy Vanderoef and MORE at Sambuca on Thursday evening to help rise funds for her town.
Let's show her that Texans have a heart as big as our state and help raise much needed funds for all of the victims of this senseless crime.
WHEN? Thursday, July 26, 4-7PM
WHERE? Sambuca is located at 2120 McKinney Avenue, Dallas, TX 75201, (214) 744-0820
WHAT? Sambuca has generously donated complimentary appetizers and will be offering half-priced drinks until 7:00pm. Thanks to the generous underwriting from Bill Griffin Real Estate Brokerage, ALL MONIES COLLECTED at the door will go directly to COVA, Colorado Organization for Victim Assistance (www.coloradocrimevictims.org) which will provide both physical and mental support to the survivors.
COST: $20 suggested donation"

DELIGHT: Sparkle: Courtesy of Marilyn, Royal Asscher, Erickson Beamon and Bling Is the New Black

| From Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, 1953 |
Here are three pieces that have currently caught my eye. Delight, love, flashy goodness or subtle sparkle, they make me smile all the same.
Delight List #1: Sparkle
Home of some of the world's most beautiful diamonds, just as Mark Zuckerberg, Royal Asscher has taken the lovely diamond to a whole new level with the Stars of Africa Collection and their less costly, Shining Stars, sister collection. In particular, the rose gold calls my name with its' fabulously luscious brilliants floating under a spectacular dome. It is like a fabulously personal snow globe made of diamonds... Though, on second thought, the Shining Stars Collection with their modern ceramic and etched metals, could easily translate to a glam everyday piece that is striking and fabulous.
