Recently, I was lucky enough to join some of my bloggy buddies from Dallas Moms Blog at Famous Footwear for a Back-to-School preview and shopping experience. There was lots of conversation, the happy contented oohs and aahs of delighted moms scoring a good deal. Pair that with bites from Zoe's Kitchen, it was a win all around.
From the shoes on display, I saw lots of sparkle and shine for girls, darling faux-lace up boots and sneakers in the brightest neons that I've seen in a while. For boys, the neon theme was echoed and athletic-inspired looks for everyday stole the show.
As for my children's last minute choices, Z chose a pair of sneakers with monkeys, bright spirals and multi-colored laces. S chose a pair of grey sneakers embellished with a neon orange stripe... Happy kids! Total Victory!
