EVENT: Doc McStuffins Mobile Clinic Launches Health Focused Multi-City Tour

One of my daughter's favorites is Doc McStuffins (and quietly my son's too) -- new episodes start September 6.   It's one that I find myself singing along to and love the messages of take good care of yourself and that it takes some of the fear factor out of health care for my short people.

I love that it's positive, feel-good television that encourages her to feel good about herself, take care of those around her and community service.  I also love that it shows families and communities in a variety of shades and compositions and that all children, even and especially children of color in a positive light, doing good things and living lives that are similar to ours.  It's nice to see.
